The warning screen is the same as the A&M warning, but it had a red box with the FBI text and logo is white, different warning text and "WARNING" is larger and it's red.

1993-2002

The warning screen is the same as MCA/Universal Home Video (now Universal Studios Home Entertainment), but different warning text and "FBI WARNING" takes place of "WARNING" and in a different font.

PolyGram-Early-Warning-Flight-Dragons

Warning: On a black background, we see the word "WARNING" in white. Next to it is the white warning text.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Extremely rare. Seen at the end of the first PolyGram Video releases in the UK, such as Rankin/Bass' The Flight of Dragons and The Wind in the Willows. Also appears on many PolyGram rental releases of Spectrum Video material, including Endless Love, An American Werewolf in London, King of the Mountain, McVicar and Quadrophenia.

1984-1998

Warning: On a black background, we see the word "WARNING" in orange, and below is orange warning text.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on all British PolyGram Video releases from 1984 to 1992. It can be found on releases from UK companies PolyGram acquired, such as 4 Front Video, Vision Video and Channel 5 Video releases. Starting in November 1990, coinciding with the PolyGram Video "PV, PV Videotape & VHS Assembly" logo's debut, the warning appeared at the start and end of later British PolyGram Video releases from 1990 to 1992.

1992-1997

PolyGram Warning 1993

Warning: On a black background, we see the word "WARNING" in the same font as the 1993 PolyGram logo in white, and below is white warning text.

FX/SFX: The fading of the text.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on Barney, Dennis the Menace, Singing Kettle and other British PolyGram video releases from 1992 to 1997. Sometimes, at the end of UK VHS tapes, the logo is shown after the PolyGram Video logo.

Scare Factor: None.

1997-2002

POLYGRAM WARNING SCREEN

Warning: On a black background, the white text split in two rows in Helvetica with "WARNING" on the top fades in, and after 20 seconds it fades out, sometimes slower.

FX/SFX: The fading of the text.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on British PolyGram Video/Universal Pictures Home Entertainment releases from 1997 to 2002. Also seen on some UK VHS and DVD releases from HiT Entertainment. Sometimes, at the end of UK VHS tapes, the logo is shown after the PolyGram Video logo or the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment logo.
